Goodbye Junk Food and Citizens for Humanity. Goodbye 7 For All Mankind and Splendid. After Saturday, Oct. 4, Athens County will no longer be able to buy these luxury brands on Union Street.
Noir boutique moves to a new location in downtown Granville, Ohio. Co-owners Kristen Black and Bethany Miller are excited about the move, but sad to leave Athens, they said.
Black and Miller are Ohio University graduates and have been in their Athens location for three years. “We definitely have enjoyed our time in Athens," Black said. "It’s a great community. OU is a great school.”
Granville has always been a target area for the boutique. While they would love to operate in two locations, they both have other full time jobs and are not able to do it all.
The Granville location will open in mid-October, with a grand opening Oct. 25. To make moving easier, Miller and Black are working hard to sell most of the merchandise. There are very good deals on inventory Miller says, with much merchandise up to 75 percent off.
As of yet, there is no word as to what is going into the vacant space.
