Speakout: Strip club in Athens

The vacant West Stimson Avenue property, formerly housing the New-to-You thrift store, has been drawing attention after a proposal was made to put a strip club on the property. Speakeasy set out to discover what the buzz is all about.

Speakeasy took to the streets to find out how Ohio University students and community members are really feeling about this new property development. People were asked to say what they thought about the possibility of this club being erected close to campus.

Answers varied from excitement about a new location for 21st birthday parties to strong disapprovals of the strip club.
