On Oct. 15, Dr. Justin McDaniel spoke in E.W. Scripps Hall to an audience of undergraduate, graduate students, and professors during his lecture “Indianization Redux: New Hinduism in Thailand”.

Ohio University students gathered Thursday in Walter Hall to learn about the development of the Christian missions movement and the history of spiritual awakening on college campuses in the United States and Europe. Sean Cooper, a staff member of an organization named The Traveling Team, led the discussion.

Jewish humor course brings comedy to the classroom

The class of 98 students sits alert as one of their fellow classmates takes the stage. He walks up to the front of the room and, with a smile, begins. While his joke lasts only 30 seconds or so, it receives hearty laughs and encouraging claps from his peers. With this jovial start to the two-hour class period, the students take out their notebooks and prepare to listen.
