Worry no more about gossip topics at the water cooler. "The Office" begins again this Thursday with an hour-long premiere. After a cliff-hanger third season finale, the fourth time may be the charm for everyone's favorite TV couple, Pam and Jim.

Last season ended with Jim's (John Krasinski) finally asking Pam (Jenna Fischer) to go with him to dinner, and Pam's agreeing. Unfortunately, NBC execs are being very tight-lipped about what is going to happen with the currently happy couple.

NBC.com does provide some insight on what everyone did over the summer with mini videos. In Karen’s (Rashida Jones) video, she reveals that Jim “dumped her ass and left her crying by a fountain in New York City.” Michael (Steve Carell) reveals that Jan (Melora Hardin) has moved in with him. By far, the funniest videos are Angela's (Angela Kinsey) and Dwight’s (Rainn Wilson). Angela talks about being dragged to see “Knocked Up” (which, of course, she hated), and Dwight is very focused on getting back to work, thus ridiculing those focused on the summer.

“The major thing that affects the office is that Ryan (B.J. Novak), the former temp, is now Michael’s boss," Executive Producer Greg Daniels said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "It’s a big deal. There’s a company Web site that Ryan is trying to push down people’s throats.”

Ryan’s summer video shows him in his new office wearing an Armani suit and discussing all of the perks of his new job, mostly money.

This season premieres at 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27 on NBC, with Michael convinced that his office is cursed after a freak accident. This prompts him to ask staff members about their religious beliefs. Later in the episode, Michael does a 5K “fun run” for charity. NBC's Web site will have access to the episode for those unable to watch it on TV.
