My name's Kait. I dislike it when people spell my name wrong. I am (obviously) a freshman and a magazine journalism major, I also plan on pursuing a minor in sociology and a Scripps-required second specialization in music history and literature. Like many other aspiring journalists, my goal in life is to write about music for a living. I'm madly in love with indie rock and if I could, I would propose to it over a cup of (black) coffee. I also dig blues, jazz, hip-hop and even tough guy hardcore. As you can tell, I am a gigantic music nerd. This is not a bad thing. Aside from music and journalism, I also enjoy having a good time at OU, photography and like I said before... sociology... I just love how the human mind works. One day I want to live in a big city and travel all through around Europe and Asia. I'm going abroad my junior year even if it means I have to learn the basics of a new language or spend my summer in Athens catching up on missed credit hours. Before this turns into a novel, let's just say that I have a lot of plans for my next four years of college... and because I enjoy writing about myself, you, dear reader, just found out about plenty of them.
