Bobcats win weekend, sweep Western Michigan

The bats finally came alive for the Ohio baseball squad this weekend, with the Bobcats pulling off an impressive three-game sweep of the Western Michigan Broncos. Over the course of three games, the previously struggling ‘Cats were able to outscore WMU 54-11.



Fast start leads to Ohio’s fourth win

A seven-run first inning paced Ohio’s 15-5 thrashing of rival Marshall Wednesday night.

Pitching, which had been a sore spot in the team’s 3-22 start, was a key factor in the game. Brent Choban started for the Bobcats, allowing only two runs in 3.2 innings. Michael Dillon followed him up with 4.1 of solid work, showcasing a biting fastball while striking out four and giving up the three remaining runs.
